Power of Prayer

Intercessory Prayer Group
Prayer is a powerful communication source the Lord has given to His children. We are told to “pray without ceasing.” “…Be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:18)

The GUMC Intercessory Prayer Group (IPG) meets twice monthly.

The group meets to update a master prayer list and pray together.

This group consists of nine ladies who have made a commitment to pray daily for the requests presented to the group. Members of GUMC or anyone may contact Libby Frederick  or Helen Cochrane to request prayer. Individuals can also call the GUMC office 722-2042, and the message will be sent to Libby or Helen so the group can be asked to pray for urgent needs.
