Welcome to GUMC Children & Family Ministries! Your child’s spiritual formation is very important to us! We are committed to partnering with families to establish and nurture young disciples so that their knowledge and love of Christ grows into a mature faith. Our goal is to provide safe, age appropriate, inviting and meaningful experiences that will accomplish these things in their lives.

I joined GUMC in 2021 as the Director of Family Ministry and Congregational Care. Before serving at GUMC, I was the Director of Children and Youth Ministries at Saulston UMC. My deep love for Jesus and serving came from watching my Grandparents live out their love of Jesus. My Grandparents contributed to my passion and call to serve in children’s ministry from the example they set before me. 

God has laid it upon my heart to teach children three main things so they can grow into Disciples of Christ. 1)Who Jesus is, 2) what Jesus did for them, and 3) the difference that having a personal relationship with Jesus will make in their lives forever.

All children participating in any activities must complete a student/parent info form before participating. A new form will have to be completed at the beginning of each youth ministry year. This form will help GUMC Children's Ministry better serve your children.
